I have visited the Olson House in Cushing, Maine several times, and drew here 'sur le motif' in the 1980s and '90s. The house was made famous in Andrew Wyeth's iconic painting 'Christina's World'. Wyeth painted Christina Olson many times and used the rooms of the house as a studio. He also painted her brother Alvaro. The house was originally a mariners’ inn.
