Queen Anne's Lace

This is one of two small watercolours I painted in the 1980s in a log cabin in the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina, near Waynesville. The name refers to the white wildflowers which sparkle through the grass. As with Decorative Corn there are about 15 layers of paint in the wall texture.
